Privacy notice

DHP Ventures Ltd. Last updated 26 October 2026.

This notice explains how DHP Ventures Ltd uses personal data about people at the organisations we contact about workplace training and apprenticeships, and about people who use this website. It also explains the rights those people have.

Who we are

DHP Ventures Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16703407.

  • Registered office: 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE
  • Privacy contact: deborah@dhp-ventures.com
  • ICO registration number: ZC285616

We help employers in England access government-funded apprenticeship training for their staff, and introduce them to approved training providers.

Whose data we hold and what it is

We hold business contact details for people who run, manage or make training decisions at employers we think the programme could suit. That usually means owners, directors, operations, HR and learning leads.

  • Identity and role: name, job title, employer
  • Business contact details: work email address, work or switchboard phone number, LinkedIn profile URL
  • Organisation details: company name, sector, size, location, website
  • Our contact history: emails, messages and calls between us, replies, meeting bookings, your preferences (including any request not to be contacted)
  • Call notes and recordings: notes a team member makes during a call. Calls made through our outreach platform, Leadey, are recorded, transcribed and summarised.

We do not seek any special category data, such as health or religion, and ask you not to send us any.

Where we got your details

If we contacted you first, we did not get your details from you. We collected them from:

  • business contact databases and lead-research tools, including the one built into our CRM, provided by Leadey Technologies CO L.L.C
  • public sources: Companies House, your organisation's website, business directories and online maps listings
  • professional networking profiles you have made public, such as LinkedIn
  • data enrichment services that supply business phone numbers, provided by Leadey Technologies CO L.L.C

If you replied, booked a call, emailed us through this website or were introduced to us, we also hold what you told us.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests under the UK GDPR. Our interest is telling employers about training their staff may be eligible for, and helping those who are interested to apply. We have weighed this against your interests: we only use business contact details, we contact you in your work role, every message tells you how to opt out, and we stop as soon as you ask.

We use your data to:

  1. send you business emails and LinkedIn messages about the programme
  2. call your business number, after checking it against the Telephone Preference Service and Corporate Telephone Preference Service
  3. check whether your organisation is eligible for funding
  4. arrange and hold calls you agree to, and send reminders
  5. introduce you to a training provider if you choose to go ahead
  6. keep a record of anyone who has asked not to be contacted, so we never contact them again

We only send unsolicited marketing emails to corporate addresses, such as limited companies, LLPs and public bodies. We do not email sole traders or ordinary partnerships without their consent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only where needed:

  • Our team and partners working for us: sales staff and the people who run eligibility calls, under confidentiality terms
  • Service providers: our CRM and outreach platform (Leadey Technologies CO L.L.C), email and calendar providers, video-call tools and data enrichment services, acting on our instructions. This website is hosted by Vercel.
  • Training providers: only if you decide to go ahead, so they can enrol your learners and arrange funding
  • Funding partners: where an apprenticeship levy transfer is arranged, the employer transferring funds and the government's apprenticeship service may need your organisation's details
  • Authorities and advisers: where the law requires it, or to our professional advisers

International transfers

Some of our service providers store or access data outside the UK:

  • Leadey Technologies CO L.L.C, our CRM and outreach platform, is based in the United Arab Emirates. The UAE does not have a UK adequacy decision, so we protect these transfers with the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Google Workspace, our email and calendar provider, may store data in the United States and other countries. These transfers are covered by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Google's standard contractual clauses.

Contact us for details of the safeguard used.

How long we keep it

  • We contacted you and you did not engage: up to 2 years from our last contact, then deleted
  • You booked a call or became a client: for the relationship, then 6 years for legal and tax records
  • You asked us not to contact you: your name, email and organisation stay on a do-not-contact list for as long as we market, so we never contact you again

Your rights

You can stop our marketing at any time. Reply "stop" to any email, use the unsubscribe link, tell us on a call, or email deborah@dhp-ventures.com. We will stop contacting you and add you to our do-not-contact list. This right is absolute: we do not need a reason.

You also have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data deleted
  • restrict how we use it
  • object to any use based on legitimate interests

We respond within one month. There is normally no charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

How to complain

You can complain to us about how we use your data. Email deborah@dhp-ventures.com or write to our registered office. We acknowledge every complaint within 30 days, look into it without undue delay, and keep you updated until it is resolved.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

Security, decisions and updates

We protect your data with access controls, secure passwords and reputable service providers. Only people who need it can see it.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone. We may use software to prioritise who we contact, but a person decides whether your organisation is eligible.
